A song I wrote about our beloved rottweiler we lost to cancer last year. During her long battle, we had to amputate one of her legs. Using "writer's license," I changed her gender & turned her into an ordinary stray mutt. It seemed to fit the storyline better, while still conveying my sense of feeling left out!
